I went for a walk in the North Woods, partly because I don’t love the crowds in the Ramble on weekends, and partly because there were a few Hooded Warblers seen that morning. I didn’t find them, but it was beautiful weather, and I saw two raccoons and many chipmunks. The only warblers I saw were Yellow-Rumped and Black-and-White, but I didn’t catch any great photos on this day. The rare visitor to the reservoir was a Horned Grebe, I photographed it eating fish when I first got to the park, and in better light on my way out. The names of the birds are there if you hover over them, sorry if you’re on your phone!
